Connecting the engineering community through SOLIDWORKS
Melbourne, Australia, May 2021 – Businesses thrive through connections. With over 30 years of experience in Engineering and Manufacturing industries across ANZ, INVENIO is responding to the needs of recovering industries around Australia with genuine value-adding networking events.
Over the past month, INVENIO organised three events in Australia and New Zealand with the intention of bringing SOLIDWORKS users together in a networking environment, whether they be Engineers, Designers or Manufacturing Specialists. These events are a complement to the company’s established industry forums and product demonstration events.
Titled ‘Racing Simulation Networking Night’, the Melbourne event was held at CoolDrive Auto Parts headquarters with the Blanchard Racing V8 Supercar team. Representatives from INVENIO presented the technical support they provided to Blanchard Racing, including SOLIDWORKS Simulation services. Despite re-instated COVID restrictions in Victoria, many high calibre attendees and industry players attended the event while meeting the mandated cap on public gatherings.
Over in Auckland, the company hosted a networking event for the local manufacturing industry called the ‘INVENIO Manufacturing Meetup’. The event included presentations from INVENIO, The Manufacturer’s Network industry body, and two key players in New Zealand’s engineering industry – Facteon and Caliber Design.
With border restrictions in force, INVENIO’s third event, ‘Learn the Power of SOLIDWORKS Simulation’, was hosted as a webinar. Organised in response to many inquiries received on SOLIDWORKS Simulation features, the webinar was run by INVENIO’s Simulation Expert, Thiru Rajan, and Perth-based Application and Design Engineer, Joe Sands. The event received positive feedback from attendees regarding content, quality of presentation, and the usefulness of information.
“Connecting people with the right partners, products and services is an integral part of INVENIO’s success for the past 30 years” said Ivan Meisel, Managing Director and CEO of INVENIO.
“As a pioneering business solutions provider, we believe that it is our responsibility to bring our clients and the broader engineering industry together to find new opportunities and build better partnerships.”
As industries continue to adapt to changing event gathering rules due to COVID-19, INVENIO will continue to organise industry forums, product demos and networking events to demonstrate our industry leading software solutions and bring local engineering and manufacturing industries together. More information on upcoming events will be announced on INVENIO’s website at https://www.invenio.com.au/services/webinars/ and on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/company/invenio_3.
