We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Program Management Analyst for a contract role within Ford’s Product Development team based in Melbourne.
In this role you will be working in a dynamic global environment managing the design and development of vehicle components and develop designs to meet system and vehicle attribute targets. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the selection of suppliers, development of program work plans, and completion of gateway deliverables to maintain program costs and timing
Key Responsibilities:
·Provide lead interface in Australia and work collaboratively with the wider T6 Program Management, Engineering and Cross Functional teams located in multiple regions to ensure the Program addresses all regions product attributes, financials, procurement, manufacturing, homologation and launch requirements.
·Lead global program milestones, driving cross-functional teams in multiple regions to meet key deliverable and deadlines. Lead or significant contributor to Program Milestone Papers and governance meetings.
·Lead program team with input to Program Direction (PDL's and TIB's), engineering content, financials, design, and sourcing. Ensure that new functions or features are well investigated prior to being added to the program and clearly communicated once approved.
·Deliver data accuracy and integrity in PM tools / process that this position will own.
·Leads adherence to GPDS, global program management and approval processes. Program Management must understand all of the program metrics, how they interrelate and ensure the right focus is kept in the teams to enable delivery at each Milestone.
Coordinate and audit product team plans to ensure they achieve program objectives and where required coach the team to ensure robust and timely program delivery
Required Skills & Knowledge :
·Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business degree
·Candidate needs a strong understanding of Ford Program Management processes.
·Candidate needs an appreciation of and interest in the complexities of program delivery across multiple regions with multiple launch locations. The candidate should be aware of and interested in the cultural and language barriers, diversity of skills and practical/physical challenges which come with working in developing markets.
·Candidate needs a comprehensive understanding of the Global Product Development System (GPDS) through demonstrated experience.
·Candidate should have a proven Project Engineering or Program experience
·Candidate must have demonstrated a drive for data accuracy and integrity
·Desired leadership behaviours include understanding of Business Acumen, Drive for Results, Innovation and Technical Excellence. Candidate should also possess strong negotiation skills.
·Candidate should be comfortable with the potential for some travel and be flexible with work hours due to the time differences between markets.
·Preferred that candidate has had previous AP or Global Program experience.
