INVENIO expands software solutions support for CAMWorks

Melbourne, Australia, January 2021 – Smarter integration brings better results. As the design-to-manufacturing process becomes more streamlined within SOLIDWORKS, seamless CAM integration is necessary in eliminating needless machining complexity and reworks down the line. To that end, Invenio has been offering industry leading CAM software, CAMWorks, to the ANZ market for over a year.

CAMWorks is an industry-leading computer-aided manufacturing solution, developed as the first fully integrated CAM product exclusively to operate in SOLIDWORKS. Developed by HCL Technologies, CAMWorks is a SOLIDWORKS Gold certified product, which offers true associative machining, automatically updating the toolpaths based on changes to the part model.

Thanks to its SOLIDWORKS integration, CAMWorks promises to boost machining productivity and eliminate time-consuming CAM system reworks. In addition to that, the software reduces complex programming of SOLIDWORKS files through Automatic Feature Recognition that automatically recognises over 20 types of prismatic machinable features.

In line with INVENIO’s comprehensive software support for SOLIDWORKS, our technical team organised a CAMWorks 2021 Top Features webinar recently. INVENIO’s Perth-based Application and Design Engineer, Joe Sands, and Melbourne-based Application Engineer and CAM Specialist, Joseph Dagher, hosted the webinar where they demonstrated the software’s ten best features with a short demo of its practical applications. The event attracted numerous interested participants from across Australia and New Zealand.

“SOLIDWORKS is a complete product by itself, however solutions such as CAMWorks that are industry leading in their own right can offer focused improvements, such as helping users to avoid unnecessary reworks to get the desired results quicker,” said Ivan Meisel, Managing Director and CEO of INVENIO.

“As a two-time Dassault Systèmes Gold Partner, we a proud to offer this SOLIDWORKS Gold certified product as a complement to our software solutions offerings. It is our goal to offer every customer the opportunity to create the right software package for their business needs.”
