SOLIDWORKS 2019 Showcased at Invenio Innovation Day Auckland

Melbourne, Australia, October 31st, 2018 – Invenio Pty Ltd recently hosted their first SOLIDWORKS Innovation Day at the STARDOME Observatory Planetarium in Auckland, New Zealand. The event primarily showcased the numerous new features, as well as demonstrate the full design-to-production capabilities, of Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS 2019, the latest iteration of their highly-rated SOLIDWORK suite of CAD tools.

The event saw a full attendance of engineers from the region who were treated to an informative morning, exploring the potential of the SOLIDWORKS suite of CAD tools and learning about the hundreds of powerful new, user-driven enhancements that is integrated into SOLIDWORKS 2019.

Chairing the event were associates from Dassault Systèmes and key industry partners. Introducing SOLIDWORKS 2019 was Kapil Gaitonde, Dassault Systèmes’ South Asia Pacific Territory Technical Manager for Professional Solutions. Representatives from Caliber Design and Total CNC-Markforged rounded off the event’s proceedings with discussions and demonstrations on SOLIDWORKS 2019’s CAD capabilities for an all-encompassing morning.

“Innovation Day is part of Invenio’s commitment towards providing engineers of all levels of experience and engineering enterprises the opportunity to have a deep dive into the various features of the latest CAD tools from Dassault Systèmes and have experts in the field take them through the tools’ capabilities and potential,” said Ivan Meisel, Managing Director of Invenio.

The subject matter and venue of Invenio’s most recent Innovation Day follows on from the company’s most recent development in becoming an authorised reseller of SOLIDWORKS software in Victoria, South Australia, and New Zealand, as well as its venture into the New Zealand market.

“With the timely launch of SOLIDWORKS 2019 and the establishment of our office in New Zealand, we decided that there was no better place to introduce our guests to the power of SOLIDWORKS than Auckland’s STARDOME Observatory Planetarium,” added Ivan.

Being a driver of the digital transformation, Invenio’s Innovation Day will continue to be a key part of the company’s initiative to demonstrate the potential and capabilities of design-to-production tools like SOLIDWORKS to engineers and enterprises who can better experience for themselves the technological revolution that is quickly changing the workscape and disrupting traditional industries.
